Grand Hyatt Chengdu

We had an excellent stay. The room was ample, the bed very comfy and the shower absolutely fantastic with lots of water pressure and double rainforest and handle sprays. We also had a Nespresso coffee maker and they provided extra pods for us. There are many shops close by for anything you need (except no Tshirt shops anywhere to be found, which we found insane…just a million panda plushy/stuffed animal stores!). The spa and pool facilities were excellent and enjoyable. They called for a taxi for us and were very vey accommodating. Overall, an absolutely fantastic stay.

Having traveled extensively around the globe, I can confidently say that Grand Hyatt Chengdu stands out as one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The service here is impeccable—accommodating, courteous, and genuinely friendly. A special shoutout to Zoey Zhang (I hope I got her name right!) and the wonderful lady who helped us with our check-in—your warmth and professionalism left a lasting impression. Our suite was absolutely fantastic—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully prepared with a personal note from the hotel, which we truly appreciated. It’s little touches like these that make a stay memorable. And let’s talk about the location—it’s unbeatable! Nestled in the heart of the city, the hotel is surrounded by a plethora of shops, from local delicacies to luxury brands. It’s incredibly convenient and adds so much to the overall experience.

The location is good. Staff is nice and attentive. One of the staff that I forget to ask her name was really helpful. She tried to help us with Wechat and communicated with the Didi's driver. My daughter loves staying here so much. She didn't want to leave. She enjoyed swimming every night. However, if you want to swim, don't forget to bring the swimming cap. If we have a chance to visit Chengdu again, we will definitely stay here.

Great location, super breakfast, rooms with a view (go as high as you can), bathroom with shower & bathtub, love their Balmain toiletries… worth getting a club room with benefits.
